Larry Cole, Ph.D.
Larry Cole, Ph.D. taught at Arkansas Tech University after obtaining his doctorate in psychology. After a four-year stint as a faculty member, he served as the CEO of a comprehensive mental health center, and a radio talk show host before starting his company.
Larry Cole is the founder of TeamMax® Inc. a consulting firm that specializes in maximizing people's potential. He developed the TeamMax® methodologies which are pioneering the "real-time" measurement of values-based working relationships and interpersonal performance.
The U. S. Poultry & Egg Association asked him to pioneer an effort in the poultry industry to improve the working relationship between contract grower and poultry companies. That work resulted in the first two books published on this subject matter, Communication In Poultry Grower Relations: A Blueprint To Success and Teamwork In Poultry Production: Improving Grower and Employee Interpersonal Skills.
He currently serves on the faculty/speaker roster of the:
- Veteran's Benefit Administration Leadership Development Program.
- University of Central Arkansas's Community Development Institute.
- Webster University.
- TEC (A national association for Chief Executive Officers)
- U. S. Poultry & Egg Association
In addition to the two books on grower relations, he published Frustration Is Your Organization's Best Friend: Measuring Corporate Culture Change and over 50 articles on personal effectiveness, organizational change and grower relations. His most recent book, People-$mart Leaders: Maximize People, Performance and Profits has been released by Oakhill Press. He, Byrd Baggett and Michael Cole (Larry's son) are currently writing the True Growth Leadership series on managing personal change, coaching for change and organizational change.
